How it began
The Marina Animal Clinic was founded by Dr. Jimmie Baldwin and Dr. George Haggerty in 1979. They had the vision of bringing the personalized care of a small town clinic to the big city, by providing the convenience of extended hours, modern diagnostics and in house care. Over the years we have built up to a 10 doctor practice. Dr. Baldwin retired in 1997 to pursue his endurance horse riding & equine practice.
We have 2 fully updated surgical suites having the latest in anesthetic & monitoring equipment. We have extended hours with in-house Abaxis laboratory to be able to run most tests at any hour that we are open, and now have the latest in digital radiography, and in house ECG monitoring and diagnostics.
We have 2 separate cat rooms, a separate isolation room for animals with contagious diseases, and a conference room for in house staff seminars and monthly Doctors meetings.
After 30 years of service to the local community, we still hold to our belief in personalized care with our extended hours and individual service for both our clients and owners. We stand my our motto of "Quality Care with Affordable Prices"...
