Dr. Haggerty
Born and raised in Long Island, NY. On a horse ranch, I started showing horses at the age of 9 and continued to show until I moved to Stillwater for pre vet at OSU. After pre-vet I returned to New York to finish veterinary school at Cornell University. While in veterinary school I had the privilege to work at Belmont, Aqueduct, and Saratoga Springs race track until graduation in 1973.
Upon graduation I stayed in NY for a year where I worked in a mixed practice, after which I came to Oklahoma and worked at the Skiatook and Collinsville Animal Hospital mixed practice until 1979. It was then that the Marina Animal Clinic was founded.
I have 3 grown children and a 15yr old son, during my time away from the clinic I enjoy taking my son fishing and on motorcycle trips, sometimes we even get my wife Mariann to go, which by the way is my practice manager of our clinic. When I am able I still enjoy the opportunity to show my Cutting Horses.
